Mission

Founded in 2002, As a valued nonprofit arts-based organization, the foundation is the arts (Dance – Theater – Visual – Music), education, art therapy, culture & humanities, and ethnic awareness.  TWW Inc’s mission is to cultivate the educational needs by serving socioeconomically challenged NYC youth from kindergarten through high school by aligning and/or creating unique art programs to their curriculum. TWW’s programs enhance developmental skills and invite students to be high achievers to the best of their abilities. TWW is dedicated to the creative process in which art is healing, life-enhancing, and a fundamental component for development.  Our organization is dedicated to the belief that the creative process is a key factor in a student’s educational experience that enables them to face challenges in which life skills are built.

TWW Inc. believes that students who are able to make connections of today’s education within a social, cultural, and historical contexts are highly capable of success in their careers and lifelong learning.

Students who cannot participate in our regular program due to their challenges in dealing with mental health, we made sure they would not be excluded, our Creative Arts Therapy “The Road to Empowerment”. This allows them to participate in other ways without feeling left out, building their self-confidence and other forms of developments. Aiding in creative outlets for children struggling with challenging circumstances in their lives.

In a time of decreasing money and resources spent on the arts in schools, because of increasing diversity in our society, so many kids who need special care and attention, TWW fills a big gap that can result in positive outcomes short and long term.
